This strategy is from Unlocking Math Concepts workshop with Grace Kelemanik and Toby Caplin.
Implementation may look like:
1. A student reads the problem to whole class. Students fill in first box, share answers with small group then out to whole class and ideas are noted on board.
2. Repeat 3 times.
Great when used with diagramming as an entry point before students try to engage with complex problem.
